Latest News  Updated 1/9/12 1.17.12 Little Treasures Learning Center Winter Magic Show 1.13.12 Little Treasures Learning Center Winter Session of Zumbatomic Begins (10 week session) Zumbatomic is a high energy fitness program packed with specially choreographed, kid friendly routines with music kids love.  It can increase self-confidence and enhance coordination. Each class is 30 minutes with 1 trained instructor. Enrolled children 2 1/2 and older are eligible. Registration forms can be found outside the office. 1.11.12 Little Treasures Learning Center Art Class with Ms. Bea Begins (10 week session) This 45 minute drawing class is offered to pre-K 4 students and older.  Enrolled children will learn technical skills of drawing and gain fine motor and handwriting skills. In addition, the children will learn to follow directions and stay on task.  Registration forms can be found outside the office 1.10.12 Little Treasures Learning Center Winter Session of Jump Bunch Begins (10 week session) In this Fitness program children are introduced to a new sport each week.  Each class is 30 minutes with 1 trained instructor. This class builds confidence and self esteem through age appropriate activities.  This class is for children 2 1/2 years old and up. Registration forms can be found outside the office. 1.9.12 Little Treasures Learning Center Winter Session of Yogarate/Karate Begins (9 week session) Shua Life skills offers a unique program. Through Karate the children will learn life skills such as confidence, respect, self-control and team work.  In Yogarate the children will also work on developing a fit mind and body.  Each class is 30 minutes with 1 trained instructor.  This class is for enrolled children age 2 1/2 and up. Registration forms can be found outside the office. 1.5.12 Little Treasures Learning Center Winter Session of Fun Bus Begins (11 week session) The Fun Bus is a full sized school bus which is equipped with kids gymnastics equipment providing your child with FITNESS FUN.  The 30 minute classes bring an interactive fun approach to improving gross motor and social skills, coordination and self esteem. 2 trained instructors provide a fun filled experience. This class is for enrolled children 2 1/2 years old and up. The children who sign up can enjoy pizza, a movie and a craft.  It is from 5-11 pm. The fee is $40 per child.  Parents can sign up on the Parent's Association Board. About Us Allow me to introduce myself. I am Christine Glennon and I am the owner and director of Little Treasures Learning Center in Edison  New Jersey(NJ). I own the center with my husband Troy Glennon. In 1999 I began working at a childcare center in the town of Iselin were I trained for 2 ½ years for the position of director. Then in October of 2001 we held a grand opening of the newly constructed Center in Edison NJ where I was a partial owner and director. After 5 years of operating this facility, Troy and I became full owners of this Center and renamed it Little Treasures Learning Center . We have added a new kindergarten classroom and a new multi purpose room which features a computer lab and staff lounge, expanded the playground area and added a children's garden. Our Mission Our mission at Little Treasures Learning Center is to provide our families with the best possible care in a setting that is not only state of the art, but also as warm and inviting as our own home.  Little Treasures Learning Center is dedicated to providing each child with the necessary experiences needed to open their minds and expand their abilities. Little Treasures Learning Center is also dedicated to our staff. We continue to provide them with an environment that is comfortable and well equipped, offering the necessary resources they need in order to continue teaching and nurturing our children. Our Philosophy At Little Treasures Learning Center  New Jersey our philosophy is to constantly strive to improve ourselves. This means that we will continually improve our facility to maintain the look and feel of a new center. We strive to offer a setting that is comfortable for the children as well as the teachers and parents. We will continue to train our staff to improve on their knowledge of early education and provide them with the necessary tools to be successful in this field. We will continue to look for ways to further enrich our curriculum. We will continue to meet the needs of the families we serve and to provide opportunities for busy parents like ourselves to meet in our many family events that are held through out the year.
