This show is an entertaining music sing along with plenty of audience participation. 8.18.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  Summer Campers Trip to Kidz Village Campers must arrive at the Center at 7:30 am to prepare to board a bus for a trip to Kidz Village in Kenilworth.  They will arrive back in time for lunch.   8.12.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  Summer Campers Trip to BOUNCE U Campers must arrive at the Center at 7:30 am to prepare to board a bus for a trip to Bounce U in Morganville.  They will arrive back in time for lunch.   8.6.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  PRE-K and SUMMER CAMPERS Enjoy Spinning Wheel Show Today our Pre-K 3 students and Summer Campers will learn how wool from sheep is turned into thread for fabrics. This is a great hands on show from Quiver Farms. This show was originally scheduled for 8/4 but was rescheduled for 8/6. 8.4.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  SUMMER CAMPERS Voted on a trip to CHUCK E CHEESE Campers must arrive at the Center at 9:00 am to prepare to board a bus for a trip to Chuck E. Cheese in Edison.  They will arrive back in time for lunch.   7.26.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  Summer Campers Bowling Trip to Brunswick Zone Carolier Campers must arrive at the Center at 7:30 am to prepare to board a bus for a trip to the bowling lanes for a morning of activity.  They will arrive back in time for lunch.   7.24.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  is having Parent's Night Out Parent's night out is held monthly on a Saturday.  Parent's can enjoy a night out shopping or going to the movies while their children are cared for by our staff. The children who sign up can enjoy pizza, a movie and a craft.  It is from 5-11 pm. The fee is $36 per child.  Parents can sign up on the Parent's Association Board. 7.24.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  is having an OPEN HOUSE Families interested in seeing what our school has to offer can visit us week days from 7-6:30 or during our OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, 6/24 from 10-2pm. 7.21.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  PRE-K and SUMMER CAMPERS Enjoy Fish Tails & Ocean Oddballs Show Today our Pre-K 3 students and Summer Campers got to learn about exotic sea creatures in a show presented by Snails-N-Scales and Turtle Tales. 7.21.10 Little Treasures Learning Center  SUMMER CAMP space still available We still have limited summer camp space available for children 5-8 years old. About Us Allow me to introduce myself. I am Christine Glennon and I am the owner and director of Little Treasures Learning Center in Edison  New Jersey(NJ). I own the center with my husband Troy Glennon. In 1999 I began working at a childcare center in the town of Iselin were I trained for 2 ½ years for the position of director. Then in October of 2001 we held a grand opening of the newly constructed Center in Edison NJ where I was a partial owner and director. After 5 years of operating this facility, Troy and I became full owners of this Center and renamed it Little Treasures Learning Center . We have added a new kindergarten classroom and a new multi purpose room which features a computer lab and staff lounge, expanded the playground area and added a children's garden. Our Mission Our mission at Little Treasures Learning Center is to provide our families with the best possible care in a setting that is not only state of the art, but also as warm and inviting as our own home.  Little Treasures Learning Center is dedicated to providing each child with the necessary experiences needed to open their minds and expand their abilities. Little Treasures Learning Center is also dedicated to our staff. We continue to provide them with an environment that is comfortable and well equipped, offering the necessary resources they need in order to continue teaching and nurturing our children. Our Philosophy At Little Treasures Learning Center  New Jersey our philosophy is to constantly strive to improve ourselves. This means that we will continually improve our facility to maintain the look and feel of a new center. We strive to offer a setting that is comfortable for the children as well as the teachers and parents. We will continue to train our staff to improve on their knowledge of early education and provide them with the necessary tools to be successful in this field. We will continue to look for ways to further enrich our curriculum. We will continue to meet the needs of the families we serve and to provide opportunities for busy parents like ourselves to meet in our many family events that are held through out the year.
